Has a Special Need

Olivia is named after Mark Twain's wife. They are both sweet and beautiful.

From Olivia's Foster Mom:

Olivia is a sweet, smart and friendly little girl who will wear you out playing fetch. She knows how to fetch and how to roll the ball back to you to be thrown again. She’s not too high energy, she just likes to play. She will also sit calmly with you if you want her to. She’s a bit protective of a little toy I gave her. She doesn't growl if another dog comes near it, but she won’t leave it unattended. She will carry it outside with her and will do her business while still holding it in her mouth! It is quite a sight to see.

She seems to be house broken as she goes to the door to let you know she needs to potty and has not had an accident in the house. She understands and responds to you when you say; "come here" no matter which dog you are talking to. She has had some hair loss, probably due to a poor diet, but as her new healthy hair is coming back in, it’s obvious she is going be a beautiful color.

Update from Olivia's Foster Mom:

Olivia’s true personality is beginning to shine as she is finds her place among her five furry foster-sisters. Each of them has a very different outlook on life and she is easily adapting to the playful high energy pups as well as to the couch potatoes. She is quick to alert us when it’s time for breakfast, snack time and dinner. She is a real snuggler and a very affectionate girl. She hasn’t had a single accident in the house, and a couple of times she even used a puppy pad because it was on the floor outside her crate.

Olivia is reminiscent of a true classic "lady." She has manners but is not bossy. When she pursues her favorite toy, she won’t fight for it should another dog get to it first. She is NOT an aggressive eater and won’t seek out another dog's bowl when she is finished with her own.

Her coat is coming in nicely and she has silky soft long red hair with black overlay. Her big beautiful brown eyes with that "extended mascara" look make her super adorable. This little lady needs a family who will adore her, take time to play with her and just dote on her. She’s such a sweet dog and is really easy to care for. Any family would be well rewarded with Olivia as part of their “pack.”
