Copper is our rescuer's special and was moved to the "forever foster" position before it even existed. Copper has too much emotional baggage from his previous life, which likely consisted of very little love and a whole lot of abuse. His foster mom would love to find a home for him, but also realizes it took her 3 months to get him to even trust her enough to let him be handled gently. He needs a patient loving home that is familiar with socializing rescued dogs.
Copper is a three year old miniature red male. He is a real sweetie once he warms up to you, but he MUST warm up to you first. Copper is tiny tiny at only 9 lbs. He is quite active, but not hyper at all. He likes stuffed animals, balls and (of course) hooves. Copper is a snuggler and can even help you make the bed, although you'll have to ask his foster mom for a description of how that all works.
