Everyone who meets Manny immediately is drawn to him. Even the shelter people knew he was different and begged us to take him so he wouldn't get put to sleep. He may not look like a typical dachshund, but he makes up for it in his very calm and shy nature and really loves attention. He sleeps right next to his foster mom and puts his head on her stomach. Manny is a wonderful, dachshund mix. He bears the scars of that hard life. The poor guy has an area where his hair didn't quite grow in on his back. The vet thinks he might have been burned. He really deserves to have a person of his own, but since he has been in foster care so long, we decided to let him be a forever foster.
