AdoptAPet.com
AdoptAPet.com

Adopt-a-Pet.com (formerly 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com) is a non-profit pet adoption charity that helps shelters, humane societies, SPCAs, pet rescue groups, and pet adoption agencies advertise their homeless pets to adopters for free. We're all about getting homeless pets into homes. We use the power of TV, the Internet and a toll-free phone number to connect adopters with shelter pets and help pets go from alone to adopted. We're working to help the good people at shelters and rescue groups find homes for their pets.
All Texas Dachshund Rescue

All Texas Dachshund Rescue is a group of dedicated volunteers whose primary goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home neglected, abandoned, disabled and otherwise endangered Dachshunds throughout the state of Texas. We rescue dachshunds in the Austin, Dallas / Fort Worth, Houston & San Antonio metroplexes, as well as in surrounding areas including Abilene, Corpus Christi, Longview, Midland and San Angelo.
Bay Area Pet Adoptions

Founded in 1967 as the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Galveston County, Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on donations and adoption fees to house, feed and provide medical care to the companion animals in our adoption program.
Central Texas Dachshund Rescue

Central Texas Dachshund Rescue was started in September of 2000. Our membership has grown yearly, providing more foster families and volunteers to help find loving, forever homes for our dachshunds. We were incorporated in September of 2001 and we received 501(c)3 status in February 2003. And, despite our name, we are no longer only in Central Texas, but have members and volunteers throughout the state.
Dachshund Lovers of Texas
Dachshund Lovers of Texas

Dachshund Lovers of Texas is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, all-volunteer, foster based, no-kill rescue group for dachshunds. We are dedicated to the belief that helping pets helps people, and that any life is too precious to throw away when a bit of love can save it!
Dallas-Ft Worth Dachshund Rescue Foundation

We concentrate our efforts on those dogs who are scheduled for euthanasia. We have limited spaces and resources and try to save those resources for the dogs who truly need our services. Owners who have dogs that they need a secondary home for are also provided assistance but in a different manner. Because we feel that the owner knows the dog best and is therefore the best to place that dog, we assist owners by offering a free listing service.
Diamond Dachshund Rescue

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is an all volunteer group in the heart of Texas that is dedicated to the health, welfare and happiness of our dachshund friends. We are based in Kerrville, Texas but service all of San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Our volunteers come from San Antonio, Kerrville, and other parts of Central Texas. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
Friendswood Animal Advocates

FAA actively supports rescue groups through donations, volunteering and fostering. We provide funds to vet animals, increase the visibility of animals in the community, offer adoption incentives, and identify and promote adoptable animals. We are working to change animal policies at state and local levels.
Hearts United for Animals

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill animal shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization dedicated to the relief of suffering. We rescue dogs from all over the country and specialize in long distance adoptions. We take creatures who are lost, afraid, hungry or ill and comfort them, give them a warm, soft bed, good food, medical care and most of all, love.

HUA is a place of happiness, joy and love. Everything we do is in the best interest of the dogs. The dogs have big fields of grass and trees in which to run. Our primary interest is what will make them happy. HUA is a place to celebrate the joy of life.
K-9 Search and Rescue of Texas

K-9 Search and Rescue of Texas (K-9 SAR TX) is a volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation based in Houston, Texas. K-9 SAR TX, through the use of highly trained and tested handlers and their canine partners, provides assistance to local, state and federal agencies in the search for and the recovery of lost and missing persons. In addition, through community education programs, K-9 SAR TX strives to inform the public on how to avoid becoming lost and what to do if it happens.
Petfinder

The Petfinder mission is to use Internet technology and the resources it can generate to increase public awareness of the availability of high-quality adoptable pets, increase the overall effectiveness of pet adoption programs across North America to the extent that the euthanasia of adoptable pets is eliminated, and elevate the status of pets to that of family member.
Pilots N Paws
Pilots N Paws

This site is intended to be a meeting place for those who rescue, shelter or foster animals, and pilots and plane owners willing to assist with the transportation of animals. It is not the intent of Pilots N Paws to coordinate or arrange those providing these valuable services, but to provide the environment in which those involved can come together in a common place and arrange or schedule rescue flights, overnight foster care or shelter and all other related activities.
